In the six years since S.K.I.L.L.S. helped set up this initiative we are delighted to hear that, Timu-Timu Bakery has grown and grown and they now have over 800 employees. We are very proud to have been able to support such a worthwhile cause, and giving people the skills they need to live their best lives.
The bakery makes all its own food and delivers it to the local area.
It has not only created jobs and careers for local people but is also a source of nutritious food products.
Wellgate regularly visit the Timu-Timu bakery in Uganda, the most recent visit being in January 2024.
